Dermis Pharma for Health
Dermis Pharma Health and Cosmetic Products Inc. was founded in 2016 by Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy members Prof. Dr. Özgen Özer, Prof. Dr. Evren Homan Gökçe and Assoc. Dr. Sakine Tuncay Tanrıverdi for the commercialization of Dermalix: a bioactive wound dressing that provides fast and effective treatment of diabetic wounds and bedsores.
Vision - Mission
Continuing scientific studies in the field of formulation development with its team of academicians, Dermis Pharma works in specific areas such as wound healing and cosmetics, on the basis of nano and micro technology, especially in the skin delivery.
Dermis Pharma aims to go beyond conventional standards while designing formulations with its R&D focused approach.
The main purpose of Dermis Pharma is to obtain products that will provide high added value by using local resources.
Prof. Dr. Özgen ÖZER
She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy in 1983 and completed her doctorate at the same university in 1992.
She worked in Paris Sud-11-France in 1996 by receiving a NATO-B2 scholarship and in 1999 by receiving a French Government Scholarship in order to carry out post-doctoral studies.
Prof. Dr. Özgen Özer is currently working as the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Department of Cosmetology at Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy.
Prof. Dr. Evren Homan GÖKÇE
She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy in 1998 and completed her doctorate in 2007 from the same university.
She carried out some of her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Pavia University in Italy with the EU Erasmus program. She worked in Paris Sud-11-France in 2012 within the scope of TÜBİTAK project in order to carry out post-doctoral studies.
Prof. Dr. Evren Homan Gökçe is still working at Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.
Doç. Dr. Sakine Tuncay TANRIVERDİ
She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy in 2004 and completed her master’s degree in Cosmetology from the same faculty in 2008.
She attended Basel University Faculty of Pharmacy in 2009 to carry out some of her doctoral studies and completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology in 2012.
Assoc. Dr. Sakine Tuncay Tanrıverdi still continues her studies at Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.
